McKinney Falls State Park

We expected more rain last Sunday since it was raining hard the day before but we only had occasional drizzles throughout the day. Even when it was overcast, we headed to McKinney Falls State Park for a brief R&R. Of course, I had my camera since taking photographs is a form of relaxation for me.

There were also other people who decided to enjoy the park scenery. This time, we just stayed in the upper falls.

We didn’t stay very long at the park since it started drizzling again but it was long enough to refresh our minds and spirits. We’re so lucky it’s just a five-minute drive from home.

  1. Oh I needed this today..I love the photos of the water. They are so relaxing and you can almost hear and feel the water..lovely to have that so close to your home. Thank you for linking up to Nature Notes this week…Michelle…

  2. Wonderful pics! You’ve got that silky effect working really well with the waterfalls. I think a like the first pic with the dramatic the sky the best. I just like beautiful skies, and you captured it perfectly.

Thanks for coming by today and for your kind words. I will visit you as soon as I can. Have a fantastic day and don't forget to smile. ~ Shey
