Cap 10K

The Statesman Capitol 10,000 is the largest 10K race in Texas and one of the top 10 in the nation. In its 37th year, the Cap10K took place on April 6, 2014 in downtown

On our way to the Cap10K race, hubby asked if I brought a camera and I answered, “But, of course!” 🙂 (It was the lightest and smallest one I brought though.) Here are some photos I took during the race which I finished in 1:37 with my friend Adora. Not bad for first-timers, right? 🙂

It was drizzling a bit, so it was a chilly morning.

Thank goodness, we’re already done by the time it started raining hard.

  1. Well done! Absolutely awesome – and despite the weather – you look great! Congrats on your achievements 🙂

  2. Well done. It is the London Marathon this Sunday but I won’t be running but I will be there supporting all the runners. Have you run a marathon yet? your time for the 10k was very good.

    • Thanks, that’s great that you’re a supporter. No, not yet. I’m planning to do the half marathon first. Probably in the future.

Thanks for coming by today and for your kind words. I will visit you as soon as I can. Have a fantastic day and don't forget to smile. ~ Shey
