It was our little one’s first time at McKinney Falls State Park two weeks ago. It was a nice, sunny day and there were a lot of people at the upper falls.
Of course, we did some birding during our brief walk and I think she enjoyed it. What do you think? 🙂 🙂 🙂
The first birds we saw were juvenile American robins. We saw about twelve birds feeding on a particular bush.
The exciting part of the day was spotting a summer tanager. This was the first time I’ve seen one this year since we didn’t bird much during my pregnancy and when we had our little one.
Of course, we saw some more birds. Here’s a downy woodpecker.
An Eastern bluebird.
It was definitely an enjoyable walk.
